Today is 6 months since my mom passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. In some ways it seems like she was just here and other times it seems a lot longer! This picture was taken last summer when we got her to the beach for the last time. It was a vacation we will ALWAYS treasure. I can tell you my mom is sitting on a beach in heaven with a beer in her hand and waiting to go out to dinner so she can get a Margarita (no salt:)

Bless you...I know exactly what you mean by "it seems like yesterday but yet a long time ago" since she passed. I love the picture of her...she was so happy and who wouldn't be with her family, on a beach, beer in hand! That IS heaven.
