Stand Up to CANCER

I read this on another blog (thanks Krista) and I will be Standing Up tomorrow and I hope you ALL will to. As a lot of you know my mom passed away last Sept. to Pancreas Cancer that spread to Liver. My parents were married 54 years and my dad passed away this July. If cancer had not taken my mom, I know my dad would still be here also. Please support this cause.

I lost my best friend (David's sister) to cancer 16 years ago - - you can bet that my whole family will be watching and supporting this great cause!

Diana - I saw your comment on Krista's blog and I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. My FIL is now battling early stage four pancreatic cancer. This is a particularly cruel form of the cancer.

My mother and sister are cancer survivors and I also have a dear neighbor who recently received a terminal diagnosis. This is a very ugly disease.

Again, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I haven't lost either of my parents, but I'm watching my Husband say goodbye to his father. It's very difficult. Hugs to you and your family.

I saw your comment on Stefs blog at nihao yall and came by to say hi, as our family has also been touched by adoption. :)

I am sorry to hear about your parents. My MIL is a cancer survivor, as well as my step mom. It is an ugly disease. :(

Blessings to you and your beautufl family!

Found you through Steffi B.s blog. I also have 2 adopted children. Peter is 9, full Korean, but born in California (domestic adoption), Caroline is 4 adopted from China just a few months before Stef's daughter Sophia.

I also lost both my parents. I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer when I was 8 and he was 37. I lost my mom to lung cancer in 2004, just 1 week before Caroline was born in China. Caroline is her only grandaughter and her only left-handed grandchild (mom was a proud southpaw).

Cancer is an ugly, wretched, thief.
