My dad passed away this morning..
He was a GREAT dad and WONDERFUL Grandfather and now him and my mom are together again. I am sure my mom is wearing a new swimsuit and they are sitting on a beach together again!

I'm so sorry but I'm so happy to see this post and that they are together and also to hear what a wonderful dad he was. Not everyone can say that about a father. You are so blessed to have had him with you for so long and in such wonderful ways.
I have been thinking of and will continue to think of you and your parents while I am here. I was just telling Greg the story today and the beer is chilling in the fridge now calling for the beach and a great big "cheers" to them. I know your heart is heavy, but just know there is peace, I believe, somewhere out there and I really do believe they are together... as soul mates should be.

Oh Diana, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I love your post on them and I can say that in life or death, there is no greater place to be, but on the beach holding the hand of your sweetie. Love the photo of them last July. I want to be just like them when I grow up.

Diana, I see you post comments on the majority of blogs I read. Pug Mama posted that you had lost your dad. I'm very sorry. I couldn't imagine what it must be like. My SIL recently lost her dad who was only 63 and we had to travel back to Indy for the funeral. It definitely hit home because I had know the man since I was 5 and was approximately the same age as my own dad.
I hope that you soon find comfort in this sad time.
