This Week

Well, both boys now look like BOYS again as they both got haircuts. Nicholas' hair has been really really bad and I am thrilled his is short again. He went back to swim and realized he could not swim with HAIR. He said he could not see through his goggles and it was flowing behind him as he swam. He looks so much older and bigger with SHORT hair. He said his one teacher was going to make him leave the room as she did not realize who he was.
Nothing much else going on here except I am sooo ready for spring. I am OVER the snow and ice. I FELL going into work this week in front of the whole drop off line (could not get up as I kept falling back down on the ice). Spring can not come fast enough for me. PLUS my new car is all dirty:( Hank is actually taking it today to wash it. He just took his VAN...lol ....and washed and vacumned it. He is now a VANMAN and I have the cool car. Life is wonderful:)
We both are very very happy with the new car. It drives nice and we love how it looks. PLUS it is clean as the kids are not leaving stuff in it.

This year new is particularly special as it is The Year of the Golden Pig, when a Pig year combines with a Fire element year - this happens every 60 years and heralds an extremely lucky and prosperous year. The Chinese believe a child born this year in The Year of the Golden Pig will be blessed with a carefree, wealthy and loving life!

MaMa's Going Out:)

Its a Friday Night and THE MOM is going out. I shoved my rear in to jeans that are too tight, have on a new sweater and yesterday I got my hair cut and hightlighted....I even have makeup, earrings and perfume on. It is a MOMS night. We are going to see "Because I Said So". I have been wanting to see this. Plus the company will be good as Mary and Denise are going too. They are 2 of the nicest and funnest moms/best friends I know.

****Update*** Get you friends and go see this movie...It is soooo FUNNY. We had a great time. I need to remember to bring my camera. The parking lot was ALL ice and Mary fell getting into my car and ended up 1/2 under my car. I could not stop laughing (neither could she). Some young man came running up to her yelling "are you all right" She says "I am laughing". So if you see a ONION in the paper to the Movie Theatre with the ICY parking lot...I know who did it:)

Funny VALENTINE Story

Well, we all know yesterday was Valentines Day. Hank and I had already said we not buying each other stuff as neither of us needed anything....Well, I had to stop at Target yesterday as I bought him this Chinese Snack Mix he LOVES and Nuts. NO BIG DEAL. The kids each got a box of Chocolates. Well, home I come and give Hank his little gift and he says NO, I am not taking that. We said we were not buying stuff, now I feel bad....Well, Nicholas walks into the room and says "Dad, I called you a couple times today to WARN YOU that today was Valentines Day". Warn him...He thought his dad needed to be WARNED about Valentines day. We laughed about that all night long.

2 Hour Delay

Well, Thurday is a 2 hour delay. The main streets are pretty clear but the side streets are ICY. Here is a picture I took today of the trees. It really is pretty out.

Breaking News: BCSC Schools are closed Wednesday

Another day..another SNOW DAY. It is Beautiful out with the Trees all covered in ICE. This is the first time in a long time they we have used 3 snow days (so far). Looks like we just added a day to the end of the year:(

Snow Day or NO Snow Day..The Question of the Night

Well, it is 10:15 and the snow has started...so will be have a snow day or not...TYLER really wants to know. He decided last week that 2 hour delay and snow days are pretty nice. It was kinda funny, when I told him last Monday we had a 2 hour delay he ask if they had to stay longer at school. I said NO and he was thrilled:)

FINALLY!!!

Well, we finally bought a new SUV. We went to the KIA dealer to look at the new Rondo's since they have 3 rows and walked in and saw this one (with only 2 rows of seats) and both LOVED it. It is a Kia Sorento. 3 out of 4 of us decided we wanted a black car and it was BLACK (with the SUNROOF that the MOM wanted) PLUS it has 4 wheel drive so we really liked that too!!!
If anyone needs a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder with 98,000 miles on it I know where you can BUY ONE:)
